Welcome back again to UK Paper and trust you all had a very relaxing summer and are fully prepared for the battles, twists and turns and drama, no doubt this new season ahead will throw at us as we once again try and climb out of Division 2East of the Kent County League system. Last season was a good season for both sides however ALL at the football club were extremely disappointed with the way in which we have been treated following the league re-structuring caused by the introduction of Step 6 football to Kent. We have exhausted every avenue to try and rectify this unfortunate situation however we AGAIN find ourselves in Division 2 East despite finishing in 2nd place (following the withdrawal from the league of Lydd Town FC!!). Everyone at the club is determined to prove the league wrong following this miscarriage of justice and I for one look forward to a VERY successful and exciting season in 2011/2012 for the entire club.
Following the league AGM the reserve team have been excepted into the Kent County Reserve division and will now hopefully continue the fine form that saw them finish well in the Rochester & District league system.
Whilst the club continues to have a very secure financial footing we are always open to any sponsorship or donations, at present we have 3No pitch banners being made and will be looking to add to this in the coming weeks.
