Match Report - 08 Aug 2009, Swale United Football Club Reserves lost to Evolution XI FC
Swale lose out to Premier Division newcomers Evolution FC despite a spirited performance. Following the 4-4 draw in the first team game the reserve team took to the field and carried on straight where the first team left off and found themselves 2-0 down after 25mins.
Ryan Thompson got a goal back on 82mins however despite a spirited effort Evolution FC held out for their victory. We spoke with Reserve Team manager Aaron Hodges and asked for his opinions on the game:
"The lads did exactly what I asked of them today and despite the result not going for us I learnt a load about the players today. Everyone was dissappointed with the result however this was our first 11 a side game together and we only lost out by the odd goal to Premier division opponents."
