Match Report - 22 Aug 2009, Swale United Football Club Reserves beat Halls Reserve XI FC
Swale Reserves produce late wedding present for abscent manager Aaron Hodges, Tony Lewis led his team to a superb victory against a Halls reserve team featuring a number of fringe first teamers.
We grabbed Tony Lewis after the final whistle who had the following to say:
"I am over the moon today because the lads finally showed what they are about to a Kent County League reserve team. After last weeks disappointment we can go into next week full of hope for the season ahead."
"After this display it leaves both Aaron and I with some very difficult decisions to make as every single playing member was superb. Pick of the bunch for me were Sam Dale in goal, showing why he played most of last season in the first team and Crouchie (Danny Nightingale) who produced a sublime finish."
